*Youth League games usually kick off 9pm and are generally played on Monday or Friday - normally once a week

DO YOU LOVE FOOTBALL AND ARE YOU SPECIAL ENOUGH TO JOIN US?
Since its launch less than three years ago, the New Orleans Griffins Community Football Club has developed an ever improving youth team and a highly motivated group of coaches and administrative personnel.
In season 2009/10 we would like to continue our steady growth with the operation of three (3) teams: male under 18s and under 16s, as well as a female under 18s.
To make this possible we are aiming to recruit a number of special volunteers who can commit to approximately ten (10) hours per month on a regular basis, including attending at least one (1) evening match per month, to help run these teams and take the club to the next level.
Related expenses will be paid for the right men and women depending on successful fund-raising but you will definitely receive quality training and excellent career and self-development guidance.
This is a unique chance to become part of a highly ambitious set-up.
We currently have the following vacancies:
Fixtures Secretary
Inform players of forthcoming games
Keep records of games
Arrange friendlies and enter team(s) in cup competitions
Coaches
To provide quality coaching to our teams
FREE Level 1-2 FA coahing qualification for committed coaches
Training Support Staff
To support coaches and managers at training sessions and on match days, including setting out of training materials and providing players with water and oranges when required.
Drivers
To be available to pick up and take home players on match days
Kit Maintenance
Ensuring that kits are laundered
We also need volunteer Management Committee (M/C) members with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Fundraising
- Obtaining Sponsorship
- Financial Management
- Project Management
- Volunteer Management
- Business Development
Free training possible for potential M/C members with the right aptitude.
Preference will be given to Islington residents but those living in adjoining areas of Camden, Barnet, Haringey and Hackney may be considered.
